The Scoop on Pets was first conceived from the desire to expand on an already successful graphic design business called Sparkling Graphics & Design. The love of pets and the love of creative page layout was a
'no-brainer' for Linda Graceffo. Experience with book cover and layout design and design of ads are just some of the skills that contribute to every issue of the The Scoop on Pets.

Researching pet supply stores, the public library, and various other locations Linda realized that there was a niche to be filled for a bi-monthly pet publication that has local editorial and advertisers within and related to the pet industry. There are other pet magazines out there which are Vancouver Island based but none exclusive to the Comox Valley and surrounding area.
